Dads fucking suck

Now obviously not all of them, but holy shit have we dropped the ball as a gender. Like honestly, where do we get the idea that we can just up and leave? Or the notion that financial support is the only role in our families’ lives?

When did academic or athletic performance begin to dictate our relationships with our children? Like either of those things actually matters for anything in the grand scheme of things. 

Why don’t we care? Actually look after and protect our families? And more than just external necessities, but why don’t we look after the hearts and spirits of our families. I’m sick of this bull shit that that is how it was modeled for us by our fathers. That is the weakest argument I have ever heard. 

God sure as hell didn’t model such a pathetic excuse for being a father as we have lived out. Maybe that is why He chose to represent Himself as a male, a fatherly figure. Because He knew we as males would fail epically at every opportunity we could possibly take. 

I am honestly ashamed to be a male right now
